上星期五港股低開，恆生指數開市跌119點，國企指數跌54點，科技指數跌60點。騰訊跌1%，令指數跌28點。阿里巴巴跌1%，令指數跌12點。小米跌1%，令指數跌12點。平保跌1%，令指數跌15點。吉利跌1.2%。A股開市升0.36%，上證綜合指數升13點。開市後港股上升，內地2020增長為2.2%，第四季經濟增長2.6%，比第三季升1.2%，都比預期好。騰訊急升至$667.50，創新高。升3.5%，令指數升90點。友邦保險升1.24%，令指數升32點。美團點評升5.4%，令指數升75點，港交所升3.45%，令指數升46點。中國移動升4.88%，令指數升34點，中國聯通升4.6%。小米由跌轉升2.9%，令指數升34點。但金融股下跌，滙豐跌2.7%，令指數跌58點。平保跌2.5%，令指數跌38點。建設銀行跌1.13%，令指數跌18點。新能源股急升，保利協鑫升13%，福萊特玻璃升5.8%。信義能源升3.54%。手機設備股上升，丘鈦科技升13%。舜宇光學升6.5%，為升幅最大藍籌股，令指數升21點。半導體股上升，中芯國際升4.7%。消費股升，現代牧業升13%，恆生指數最高升至28773點，升200點。A股上午收市升25點。恆生指數上午收市升139點，企指數升75點，科技指數升286點，成交1273億元。

下午早段港股變化不大，恆生指數升一百多點。科指及電訊股上升，但金融股下跌。美團升5%，令指數升70點。港交所升3.7%，令指數升50點。騰訊升1.4%，令指數升40點。小米升3.6%，令指數升40點。中國移動升4.45%，令指數升30點。相反，金融股下跌。滙豐跌2.7%，令指數跌59點。平保跌2.6%，令指數跌39點。建設銀行跌1.13%，令指數跌18點。友邦保險跌0.6%，令指數跌16點。下午中段港股升幅擴大，恆生指數升超過200點。科技股升幅擴大，美團升6%，令指數升83點。騰訊升2.252%，令指數升68點。港交所升5%，令指數升68點。中國2020年經濟增長2.2%，比預期好，A股升幅擴大至1%。新能源股升幅擴大，保利協鑫升25%，福萊特玻璃升8.8%，信義光能升3.1%，順風清潔升10%。汽車股個別發展，吉利升2.7%，長城升3.7%，但比亞迪受到獲利回吐拖累跌5%。專家質疑石墨烯消息，指現科技水平不可能達到所言數據，廣汽大跌8.6%。A股收市升0.84%，上證綜合指數升30點。恆生指數收市升289點，國指數升142點，科技指數升340點。成交2244億元。

Technology stocks soared to lift the market.

Overseas markets fell last Friday. Hong Kong market opened lower. Hang Seng index opened down 119 points. H share index opened down 54 points; Technology index down 60 points. Tencent lost 1% for 28 point loss. Alibaba lost 1% for 12-point loss. Xiaomi lost 1% for 12-point loss. Ping An lost 1% for 15 point loss. Geely lost 1.2%. A shares opened up 0.36%. Shanghai composite index rose 13 points. The market turned from loss to gain after opening. China’s 2020 GDP growth rate was 2.3%, better than expected. Tencent soared 3.5% to historic high of $667.50. It contributed 90 point gain and was the main reason for the market’s rally. AIA rose 1.24% for 32 point gain. Meituan rose 5.4% for 75 point gain. HK Exchanges rose 3.45% for 46 point gain. China Mobile rose 4.88% for 34 point gain. China Unicom rose 4.6%. Xiaomi turned from loss to gain 2.9% for 34 point gain. However, HSBC lost 2.7% for 58 point loss. Ping An lost 2.5% for 38 point loss. CCB lost 1.13% for 18 point loss. New Energy stocks soared. GCL rose 13%. Flat Glass rose 5.8%. Xinyi Energy rose 3.54%. Handset suppliers rose. Q-Tech rose 13%. Sunny Optical rose 6.5% to lead the blue chips for 21-point gain. Semiconductor shares rose. SMIC rose 4.7%. Modern Dairy rose 13%. Hang Seng index reached a high of 28773, up 200 points. A shares closed the morning up 25 points. Hang Seng index closed the morning up 139 points. H share index closed up 75 points and technology index up 286 points. Turnover was $127.3 billion.

The market was little changed in early afternoon. Hang Seng index gained more than 10 points. Technology and telecoms rose while financial stocks fell. Meituan rose 5% for 70-point gain. HK Exchanges rose 3.7% for 50-point gain. Tencent rose 1.4% for 40-point gain. Xiaomi rose 3.6% on broker upgrade for 40-point gain. China rose 4.45% for 30-point gain. On the contrary, financials fell. HSBC lost 2.7% for 59-point loss. Ping An lost 2.6% for 39-point loss. CCB lost 1.13% for 18-point loss. AIA lost 0.6% for 16-point loss. The market rose further in midafternoon, as technology stocks soared. Meituan rose 6% for 83-point gain. Tencent rose 2.25% for 68-point gain. HK Exchanges rose 5% for 68-point gain. China’s fourth quarter GDP growth was 2.6%, better than expected. A shares rose more than 1%. New energy stocks rose further. GCL rose 25%. Flat Glass rose 8.8%. Xinyi Solar rose 3.1%. Shunfeng CE rose 10%. Auto stocks were mixed. Geely rose 2.7%. Great Wall rose 3.7% but BYD fell 4.8% to profit taking. Experts questioned the validity of claims made by GAC regarding graphene battery. Expert pointed out that the claims made by the company were unachievable under current technology level. GAC crashed 8.6%. A shares closed up 0.84%. Shanghai composite index closed up 30 points. Hang Seng index closed up 289 points. H share index closed up 142 points and technology index up 340 points. Turnover was $234.4 billion.
